A new first-person account has emerged from Eglin Air Force Base, one of the United States military’s most strategically significant installations. Daniel Gockerell, whose background and connection to the base have not yet been independently detailed in public reporting, describes an encounter with an enormous craft hovering at low altitude above the ground. According to his account, the object displayed no visible cockpit or conventional propulsion system, and produced no engine noise — only the ambient sound of nearby generators breaking the silence.
What makes Gockerell’s testimony noteworthy, beyond its striking details, is its specificity of setting. Eglin Air Force Base is not a peripheral facility. It is home to some of the most advanced aerospace testing and development programs in the American military inventory. An anomalous craft of the scale he describes, operating in that environment without apparent propulsion signature, would represent a significant data point — if the account can be corroborated through additional witnesses, documentation, or sensor data from the base itself.
The account was presented by investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell on Episode 92 of the Weaponized podcast, a platform that has previously surfaced testimony from individuals with documented military and intelligence backgrounds. As with all single-witness accounts, independent verification remains the critical outstanding question. Gockerell’s description is his own. The origin of the craft he describes remains, at this stage, entirely unestablished.
If a craft of that scale was present above a major U.S. Air Force installation — silent, structurally anomalous, and apparently operational — who else at Eglin would have seen it, and where are their accounts?
